All the ages quoted for our young people’s groups are for guidance only, we recognise and celebrate the fact that every person is unique so if young people want to join or remain in a group despite being outside the age band quoted, please talk to the appropriate leaders.
At our Sunday services, children are especially welcome and parents need not worry about them making a bit of noise or wondering about during songs. A crèche room adjacent to the sanctuary is available. At the age of 2, the children move on to join the Boulder Gang.
The children and young people are an important part of our church family at Castle Hill. We have a child protection policy, ‘Safe To Grow’, which is based on a model produced by the Baptist Union. Child protection training is arranged for our children’s leaders and they are DBS cleared.
On Sunday mornings we run various groups where we aim to provide for the children and young people. The children are all in the service for the first 20 minutes or so and then they go to their groups.

Holiday Bible Club
We run an annual Holiday Bible Club during the last week of the summer holidays, for any children of primary school age who want to come. The week is a combination of games, craft, puppets, prayer, lively music, Bible stories and custard pies, all focused on telling children the great news about Jesus, as well as on having a lot of fun and mayhem.
