Why are we here? Is there a God and if so what is he like? What is life all about? If you are a Christian can you explain your faith to your friends and family?
Come along and spend time exploring answers to these questions.
- You don’t need to know anything about the Bible.
- You won’t be asked to pray, sing or read aloud.
- You can ask any questions you like.
Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who’d like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. Looking at Mark’s gospel, it explores who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him.
The course is usually run on Monday evenings starting at 7.15pm and finishing by 9pm. Each evening will start with tea or coffee and cake, then there’s a chance to look at the Bible for yourself and ask any questions that you have. There is a short talk on DVD, followed by time to chat about what you’ve just heard.
Please email Andrew and Liz Short if you are interested in joining the next course. A few people have offered to babysit, so do ask if this would be helpful.
