Prayer and Praying Together

Every Thursday morning, between 9.45-10.20am, a number in our community intentionally meet, setting aside time to come before our Lord Jesus in prayer. Each week we seek to offer him thanks and intercessions for one another and the world. During this time of enforced separation, we still want to keep this rhythm of worship, by gathering in the Spirit wherever we are or together on Zoom. To get the code please write to Sumith in the office (

All are encouraged to join in with either this gathering or the one in the evening (see below) – whether individually, as a family or connecting virtually. The normal pattern is to start with a short reflection upon on God’s word, helping us fix our eyes on Jesus, before spending around 30 minutes in prayer. To show our unity, we will use a communal prayer at the start and end which can be found in our weekly Prayer and Praying Together sheet. Please use this as you find helpful.

All are welcome to join us. If you don’t get Prayer and Praying by email or through the post, please contact us.

Should you have a prayer request, please send it to Joyce who can share it amongst those who have committed to pray. All requests will be treated as confidential unless you clearly indicate it can be ‘public’.

If you want to join our Prayer Link as a pray-er, send a message through our contact page and this will be sent on to Joyce who coordinates us all. She will send you a simple set of guidelines and if you agree you’ll be part of the team.

If you’d prefer to receive these messages by phone, we also have a system for this. Please indicate that in your message and give Joyce a contact number.
