Getting Here & Accessibility

Getting Here & Accessibility

As our Church Buildings are right in the centre of Warwick, we want to help you as best we can. We also care about making our buildings and events as accessible as we’re reasonably able.

Getting Here

Our Address

Castle Hill Baptist Church, Castle Hill, CV34 4EX

General Parking (information correct Sept 2022)

There is no public parking at any of our church buildings. All local car parks charge 8am-6pm every day (except Barrack Street, see below). Payment is via card and RingGo. Current costs: 1h = £1.30, 2h = £2.50 etc.

Buses

There is a bus stop right outside our main building on Castle Hill.

ACCESSIBILITY

We are open to constructive advice and have a group dedicated to helping us consider these matters.

Castle Hill Building

  • The downstairs is fully-accessible
  • Blue Badge holders can park/drop-off directly in front of the church building
  • There is a ramp to the front doors, also onto the main platform (if needed)
  • An accessibility toilet is located in the foyer
  • The foyer is a ‘safe space’ to go should the main worship space become too noisy. You can still hear what is happening or can ask the Duty Deacon to turn it down (if needs be)
  • An inductive loop system is available during Sunday worship and at some other meetings (as requested)
  • Communion bread is gluten free and the wine is alcohol free

Gerrard Street Hall

  • There is no parking outside this building, and little on street parking nearby
  • An access ramp can be arranged to gain entry to downstairs, by request
  • There are no accessibility toilets and female toilets are child-sized
