Click to GIVE TO OUR HARVEST APPEAL
On Sunday 5th October we will celebrate harvest as part of our all-age worship. Every year we give thanks for all that God has given us, not least in the gift of new life found in Jesus Christ.
This year, our financial harvest appeal will be split between Christian Aid Harvest Appeal (international) and the CPAS Falcons (local). To find out more about these charities, scroll down to read about them or click on their names to go to their official websites.
As always, we will also take food donations and pass these on to our local Foodbank. Do click the following link to see what our Foodbank really needs donating.

About our charities
CPAS Purpose

CPAS exists to help every person in the UK and Republic of Ireland to hear and discover the good news of Jesus Christ through the ministry of local churches.
Christian witness today can feel like an uphill challenge since the narratives of contemporary culture often appear to be out of step with those of Scripture. Yet the gospel remains good news for all people.
CPAS continues its calling to work with churches and leaders to help them share the gospel afresh in each generation. Our current ministry involves the oversight of Venture and Falcon holidays, appointing evangelical clergy to our patronage parishes and training, resourcing and supporting leaders for mission and evangelism.
The focus of our contribution to this will be:
- Galvanising our patronage incumbents to focus their churches increasingly on evangelism.
- Equipping and resourcing ministers and focal leaders to lead churches to be more effective in evangelism.
- Exploring ways to resource churches to help Christians be courageous in sharing their faith.
- Enabling children to explore life with Jesus through School Ventures.
Thank you for standing with us as we seek to help churches across our nations reach men, women and children with the gospel.
Luke 19:10 ”For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
What are Falcons?

Falcons are affordable, safe and exciting holidays for children and young people facing challenging circumstances. Around 15 Falcons take place each year across the UK.
They give children and teenagers who may not otherwise have a holiday an amazing opportunity to make friends, experience new things and have fun. They will engage in exciting, varied activities and have the chance to explore life with Jesus in a relevant and creative way.
Falcons are suitable for young people of all faiths and none, regardless of family circumstances, race, gender or sexuality – every young person is welcome! Falcons are subsidised and further discounts may be available, so that cost is not a barrier to any young person attending.
Harvest of hope
The climate crisis is making it harder than ever for families to grow food. Flooding and drought are destroying harvests. Crops that once fed communities are now failing.

But hope is growing.
In Sierra Leone, Maryama is adapting. After floods damaged her crops and income, she joined a Village Savings and Loans Association supported by Christian Aid. With a small loan, she was able to pay her children’s school fees, secure her farm and invest in their future.
This Harvest, your church can stand in solidarity with women like Maryama. Your support can help farmers facing crisis to plant new seeds of hope—and reap the harvest.
Proverbs 14:31 ” Those who oppress the poor taunt their Maker, but whoever is gracious to the needy honours God.”
