REGISTERING YOUR YOUNG PERSON
We take the care of your child seriously, so ask you to complete a consent form for each child attending our groups (if they’re attending more than one group you only need to do this once): https://warwickbaptists.churchsuite.com/forms/7tac0g6y
Sunday morning groups

AYP! is a group for Year 7-13 that meets every Sunday during morning worship to help them grow in their faith and build new friendships.
Once a month on Sunday mornings we also run a seperate Youth Cafe Church for those in Y10-13. Your young person can choose which they’d like to attend.
Whilst some young people stay in AYP until they’re 18, others are sometimes ready to do something different. To help them grow in their walk with Jesus we encourage them to use their gifts in some capacity, i.e., on the sound/vision desk, playing/singing in the worship band, helping with the children’s work, joining the welcome team… To be clear, they are still welcome in AYP! but we don’t want them to fall away if this is no longer meeting their need. Do talk to our leaders about what would help your child the most.
Alongside group work we also realise their is a place to offer our older teens 1-2-1 mentoring as they wrestle with modern life and faith. If you think this might be beneficial to your child, even just for a season, do chat to us.
To connect with the leaders of this group or ask questions, please email youthwork@warwickbaptists.org.uk (it may take a few days to reply).
FRIDAY YOUTH CLUB
Once a month Lindsey and her team run CATALYST, a social space for our young people to hang out together. All our young people are welcome to come along and invite their friends too! The location of sessions varies between our church hall (Gerrard Street) and the main church building depending upon the activity (film nights, BBQs, table-top games…).
If you’d like to come along (and you’ve not come to one of our youth groups already), please get your parent/guardian to complete a consent form.
Please email youthwork@warwickbaptists.org.uk before showing up so you know where the latest meeting is being held!

Developing our youth work
As a church, we are pleased to partner with Thrive Youth Ministries who are supporting us in developing our youth work for the 21st century. We have a small group (Thrive Manifesto Coordinating Group) who help the fellowship focused on this as a priority. We know this involves the whole church family and so seek to get people involved in praying, participating and/or promoting each event that we put on to help our young people invite their not-yet-believing friends.
Recently, we’ve run a film night, games night and used the Thrive Youth bus as ways of building relationships. All have been really positively received by the young people and their friends. We are keen all these events are shaped by our young people so we are always open to hearing new ideas or feedback.
Base Camp
As part of supporting our young people, we take a group away to Thrive’s annual Base Camp weekend (Jan) and their one day local version (Sept). Those who have gone have always been encouraged in their faith and boyd by seeing the number of other young people from other churches around Warwickshire. To find out more, do chat to our youth leaders.
