I have been a practising Christian for the vast majority of my adult life, influenced by my grandad who taught me to pray on a daily basis. Although there have been stumbles and low points, I think that I have done quite a lot of learning and growing in that time.
Having recently retired, I feel called to serve our Church as we seek to bless the wider community through outreach. I have previously spent many years involved in Children’s work, from helping to run the children’s groups on a Sunday Morning, being Chair of the committee of Noah’s Ark Christian PreSchool and volunteering with a group for teenagers on a Friday evening. Now that I have 3 grandchildren, 1 who has additional needs, my focus has shifted to supporting family on a daily basis.
