Join us on Sunday 4th October, 3 pm–5 pm, for our “Taste of Britain” food festival! Come sample some food for free, or just mingle and chat with those around—we look forward to welcoming you.
This year we hope to have 10 different British dishes on offer to sample—though once it’s gone, it’s gone! This is a great way to celebrate some of the variety of cultures within our church.
During this time, we will also have our own “Great British Bake Off” competition — bring along your own creations by 3.30 pm to enter the fun (see below for details). Unless you say otherwise, we will auction all entries, with the money raised going to Thrive Youth Ministries and Operation Agri (link direct to “Amos” appeal). Great British Bake Off Competition Details
Please include: the name of your bake and a list of ingredients.
If you do not want it auctioned off, make that clear when you enter.
All entries must be handed in by 15:30 pm.
Judging and the cake auction are at 16:00 pm.
Awards will be given for the adult category – best large cake and Junior (5-16) best small cake/tray bake
